EXCESSORIZE ME. deserves another shoutout for sticking to daily friction fixes instead of pure survival cosplay. Hand sanitizer packets, floss picks, clear waterproof Nexcare bandages, and Shout Wipe & Go wipes form the boring-but-brilliant base layer. That is the right priority for a tin you might actually open at lunch or on a plane.
The tool tier is where the kit gets more EDC. A disposable nail file slides against the wall. The Dango Capsule holds a couple of Advil pills with a gasketed lid. Finger cots are the weird-but-smart pick for dirty public surfaces. Portawipes compressed towels expand with water into a full wipe for bathroom emergencies or kid cleanup. Uncle Bill’s Silver Gripper tweezers handle splinters better than drugstore sets. Bad Stitch leather bits dress the kit up if you want the tin itself to look intentional.
Outside the tin is the “excessorize” half. Nomad’s ChargeKey keeps USB-C charging on a keychain footprint. Keyport Versa58 turns Swiss Army Knife scale real estate into a modular tool deck, and a leftover magnetic plate can stick to the Altoids lid as a mini light/fidget mount. MODL Infinity straps act like reusable rubber zip ties for bottle hold-downs or locking the overstuffed tin shut. The Kenu Stance+ is the hero accessory: strong MagSafe joints that mount almost anywhere and let the whole Altoids stack ride on the phone. Nanobag Micro packs to AirPods size and opens into a 12L tote—slide a flat magnet inside and it parks on the tin too.
