Video Overview

Big thanks to HICONSUMPTION for a MagSafe roundup that is not just another wallet list. In 12 Best MagSafe Accessories, they treat this as a send-off for the iPhone 17 before the next phones take over. Accessory makers have had a year to build for it. The twelve picks snap on, do a job, and mostly stay out of the way. A few are clever. A couple are still first-generation.

Items & Gear List

Editor’s Insight

HICONSUMPTION already did MagSafe wallets. This follow-up is everything else the magnets can hold. The timing is the farewell tour for the iPhone 17. The phone in your pocket has a full year of accessories behind it. The new phones can wait a few weeks.

The OhSnap MCON is the one that feels like a toy you will actually carry. Closed, it is a phone-size slab. Open, the sticks and buttons spring out. It snaps on and you are playing. They like the Hall-effect triggers, the gyro, and a battery claim that matched their use. It can get top-heavy until the palm grips come out, and thumbs catch the sidewalls. Still one of the few phone controllers they have kept in a pocket.

The TELESIN C03 is the rare clip-on light they do not dismiss. The hinged puck flips, extends, and spins so you can light your face or the thing the rear camera is pointed at. Dimming is stepless, with three color temperatures. Full blast does not last long. Dial it down for a call and it lasts a work day. The Satechi hub is the other travel puck. It snaps on, wraps its cable like a yo-yo, and lets you pull a card, hardwire a network, or send a picture to a hotel TV. The USB-C port is power only. The rounded body makes seating a card awkward. Plan the adhesive ring if you want it on a laptop lid. It does not love being restuck.

Bellroy built the Venture case around a full-strength ring, so the rest of this list still snaps on. Metal buttons, a raised camera rim, and a wrist cord are the practical bits. Anker now owns the battery slot Apple left. The MagGo pack they picked is Qi2, shows a percentage, has a flick-out stand, and can charge itself and the phone from one cable. It is heavy. MOFT’s trackable stand wallet is still their wallet pick: grip, two cards, three stand modes, and Find My in the slab. Two cards is the limit, and there is no RFID block.

The Aulumu G05 Pro is a kickstand that also hides a small knife, driver, file, saw, and SIM pin. They are clear these are not real shop tools. They are for the box on the porch when your knife is in the other room. The OhSnap grip adds the fold-out metal stand that plain grips never had. Plaud’s Note Pro is the recorder for people who want a transcript without hovering a phone. The Aiffro P10 is emergency storage that sticks to the phone. Full speed needs a port most laptops do not have, so expect less on a MacBook. A thick case fights the short cable.

Clicks Power Keyboard is the BlackBerry itch. It slides open into a backlit keyboard, pairs with several devices, and can trickle a little charge. It types like a first-generation product. Tiny round keys, a learning curve, and portrait mode gets top-heavy. Landscape and a few days help. Belkin’s grip is the closer: a camera-style handle, a two-stage shutter, a tripod thread, and a battery that holds the phone while a cable charges something else. Wireless output maintains the charge. It does not fast-charge, and there is no rotating mount.

Twelve accessories, and the honest read is that MagSafe is deep enough to make an older iPhone feel new. You do not need all twelve. Pick the one job your phone still fails: play, light, cards, power, or a keyboard. The rest can stay on the shelf.

Closing Remarks

Watch HICONSUMPTION snap these on before you buy a pile. The useful part is which accessory they would actually carry, not the full dozen. If you are keeping an iPhone 17 while the new lineup settles, which magnet job is still missing? Tell us the one you would add, and the one from this list you would skip.
