Video Overview
Taylor Martin at Best Damn EDC calls this roundup on his radar. He skips the gear that is new only to be new and walks through what stood out on his desk in October 2026. The set runs from a thin Vosteed folder and a tilting clip light to a titanium digital watch, two Arno Bernard knives, a machined pen, and a threadless bottle. The last piece is the viral one. He is not sold on carrying the Hacksmith Smith Blade. Thanks to Taylor Martin for cutting through the noise. Taylor Martin thanks Big Idea Design, WorkSharp, and Nitto for sponsoring the video.

Editor’s Insight
Thanks again to Taylor Martin for putting October’s pile on camera instead of reading a spec sheet. Six pieces earn a real carry note. The Hacksmith Smith Blade is the viral tool he is not sold on.
The Vosteed Porcupine TiSlim is a top liner lock, not a button lock. The description link names model A4820, the acid-wash gray titanium handle with a 154CM blade listed at 3.04 inches. Taylor Martin likes the forward choil. A thin knife only works if the hand can stay close to the edge, and he says this one does. He also mentions a higher-steel version. This post links the 154CM model the description named. The maker page showed an add-to-cart control. This post does not promise every color is in stock.
The Olight Oclip 2 is the clip light he had grown tired of, rebuilt. The head tilts and the clip rotates, so the beam can point forward on a strap or down as a work light. The Pro link opens the orange listing, with flood, spotlight, and red light. The Ultra link opens a listing that includes the charging dock and adds UV. Both recharge by USB-C or the magnetic tail. He would not pocket the extra bulk. He would clip it for a backpacking trip.
The watch is the RZE UTD-8080-ST, a titanium digital with an in-house module. The page lists dual time, more than one alarm, a timer, and a white Cerakote case. It also lists November 2026 delivery and showed an add-to-cart control when this post was written. This post does not promise the watch ships today. Taylor Martin likes that owners of the older UTD-8000 can upgrade the module later. The page says that path opens in 2027.
The knives from Arno Bernard come through African Sporting Creations, the U.S. dealer he names. The Turaco link opens a stonewashed flipper collection, not one inlay. He calls that knife a titanium button lock with a drop point. The newer piece is the Rinkhals flipper. That link opens the mirror-stainless collection. He still gets four fingers on the smaller handle. Some listings on that page are marked preorder. This post does not pick an inlay or promise one is ready to ship.
The BilletSPIN Fusion is a side-click pen whose button is the clip. The clip also pivots, which is the part he likes. The pocket spring is light. He asked the maker to tighten it, and they told him a stronger spring would hurt the click. The page lists Parker, Energel, and Uni-ball versions. Several configs showed sold out, and the page talks about pre-order drops, so the cart may not be open.
RevoMax sent the threadless bottle after his buy-it-for-life video. The cap pops off after a lock pull. He has not seen it leak. If the bottle gets jostled and then you pull the cap, liquid runs. The lid is plastic, so he will not call it a forever bottle. The three description links match the Amazon titles: Classic 20 ounce, Classic 32 ounce, and Titanium Series 20 ounce. He has been carrying the stainless one, and he likes the rubber bottom.
The Smith Blade is the holdout. Taylor Martin backed the Pro on Kickstarter and waited nearly a year. The blade is thick and short, so it does not slice the way he wants a pocket knife to slice. The body ratchets, holds bits, and hides a file and tweezers. He has flicked it open and has not carried it. He can see it on a bench. He does not see it replacing a folder. The Hacksmith page is a fulfillment update and a signup, not an open cart. The cart may not be open yet.
Closing Remarks
Watch Taylor Martin sort the October pile before you chase the viral tool. He gives the Vosteed, the Olight clip lights, the RZE watch, the Arno Bernard folders, the BilletSPIN pen, and the RevoMax bottle a real carry note. He is not sold on pocketing the Hacksmith Smith Blade, and he says that knife still needs its own video. The links above are the pages his description opened, with tracking codes removed. A few of those pages are collections, pre-orders, or a signup, so this post does not promise every cart is open. Hit play, then say which piece you would actually clip in a pocket.
